Business Minute #7

This week (and part of next) we are delving into the details of systematizing a business.  There are nine steps to doing so, and the first step is making a Vision statement.

The Vision Statement is the guiding star for a business – what is going to happen to it and where it is going to be in 5, 10 or even 100 years.  Most Vision Statements have definite goals for the the business to attain.  Your Vision Statement is a marketing tool and a business development tool because it announces your company’s goals and purpose to your employees, suppliers, customers, vendors, and the media (Bruce Mayhew Consulting).
