FileMaker Virtual Script Triggers

TODD GEIST OF GEIST INTERACTIVE (and ModularFileMaker.org) takes modular code to another level:  Virtual Script Triggers:

Virtual FileMaker Script Triggers fire when a script reaches a point that you define.  This lets you create scripts and features that are more portable and extendable. It fits in really well with the ModularFileMaker.org philosophy.

The steps to running a virtual script trigger are:

  1. Assign an object on a layout a name
  2. Assign a script trigger to that object
  3. Trigger that script trigger by using the Go to Object script step

You can also send parameters and grab script results.  There is much more, including an example file and a video, at the link.
